I am a board-certified family psychiatric nurse practitioner. I have a master's degree in psychiatric nursing specializing in mental and behavioral health medicine. I have verifiable experience in treating variety of psychiatric disorders such as; mood disorders including resistant depression, eating disorders, ADHD, OCD, PTSD, schizophrenia, stress and sleep related disorders

I'm passionate about the importance of people having easy access to mental healthcare. Before joining the healthcare field, I taught in low-income and underserved communities. Seeing the impact that a lack of mental healthcare had in these areas drove me to return to school and begin a career focused on providing that much-needed care. In my eyes, treatment can significantly increase the quality of life both mentally as well as physically.

My ideal patient is someone who is willing to collaborate with me to create the best treatment plan possible for their unique needs. I enjoy answering questions so each patient understands the process. I also aspire to be a supportive ally for patients who are LGBTQIA+ or from any other minority community.

I am a Korean American Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner with experiences with PTSD, OCD, Anxiety, Depression, ADHD, Bipolar, Schizophrenia, and other behavioral or mental health issues. As a US Army Veteran myself, I truly believe that the brain and body work together when outside forces such as trauma, stress, or injury occur. The mind will go into a survival mode, which can trigger mental and physical symptoms. Mental illness can come to anyone and at any time.

I am a board-certified Psychiatric-Mental Health Nurse Practitioner (PMHNP-BC). I have been in the healthcare field for over 21 years. I work with my clients who suffer from a wide range of Mental Health Disorders, including Depression, Anxiety, Bipolar, PTSD, ADHD, and Psychosis. I provide expertise in medication management and psychotherapy. I aim to help all my clients feel heard, supported, and inspired to better themselves. I work in collaboration with the patient to create a treatment plan. I am also happy to help with referrals—whatever it takes to help my clients achieve goals. I also offer flexible hours to all my clients.

It is one of my greatest joys to see each of my client's life restored and improved. I consider this work my life's calling. I have expertise with a variety of mental-health conditions including: Mood Disorders (Bipolar Disorder / Depression); Anxiety Disorders; Grieving; and various life adjustments. I am Nationally Board Certified to do individual, marital, and family counseling as well as prescribe psychiatric medication. I do enjoy helping people with chronic health conditions and also am a certified naturopath to work with diet, herbs, and supplements which I can incorporate into treatment if the client desires.

I take a collaborative approach with my patients. I like to know what my patients’ goals are so I can tailor the treatment to help them achieve their goals as much as possible. Knowing what’s important to my patients helps me know what treatments to recommend or when to suggest a change to the treatment. I find that patients experience the most success if they are open to talking about their treatment options.
