I am a board-certified psychiatrist practicing on the East Side of Providence RI and remotely in MA and NY. I am extensively trained in psychopharmacology and psychotherapy. Psychotherapy (psychodynamic and psychoanalytic) is an integral part of the clinical approach I rely on when treating psychiatric conditions and symptoms impeding daily functioning, interpersonal relationships, and quality of life.

I currently work with adults and young adults struggling with a multitude of mental health conditions including anxiety, depression, mood disorders, and trauma. I also have specialized training to care for pregnant or postpartum individuals experiencing depression, anxiety, grief, or loss. I partner with my clients to optimize their overall wellness because I have a passion for providing inclusive care, social justice, and promoting patient empowerment. We will create an integrative treatment plan together which may include medication, supportive therapy, supplement recommendations, or lifestyle changes.

Psychiatric nurse practitioner Renata Sasson is the owner and founder of PVD Ketamine & Wellness. She has been working as a Ketamine Practitioner since 2021 and has successfully treated hundreds of clients with sublingual ketamine. Her vision for PVD Ketamine & Wellness is to offer impactful non-traditional healing modalities, with ketamine being the first. She is a proponent of including meditation and mindfulness as part of a well-rounded therapeutic approach. I am a Brown-trained, board-certified psychiatrist who provides individually tailored psychotherapy to adults over eighteen. I also provide medication management, if needed, for those I see for psychotherapy. I have expertise in treating a range of problems including work and academic stress, relationship concerns, self-esteem issues, life transitions, as well as depression, anxiety, and grief.

I am a board-certified Psychiatric Nurse Practitioner who believes strongly in the collaborative relationship between practitioner and client. I believe in offering non-stigmatized care in a comfortable setting where a trusting rapport can be built. I have experience treating anxiety, depression, ADHD, bipolar disorder, insomnia, etc. I am a certified Addiction specialist and have a decade of experience treating Substance Use Disorders. I am a board certified psychiatrist, with fellowship training in child and adolescent psychiatry. I have extensive experience treating anxiety, mood, sleep, and attentional disorders in adults and adolescents. As a psychiatrist, I can provide both therapy and medications to integrate your care. I enjoy treating all clients with complex mental health issues. There is no ideal client as one comes from all different backgrounds, cultures, and socioeconomic backgrounds. I have a long history of diagnosing treating ADHD and coaching individuals with ADHD. I take a wholistic patient centered approach to the care I provide. I work with my patients and families to find the treatment plan that best suits their needs.
