Dear future patients, my name is Chika Odili and I'm a board-certified nurse practitioner. I know we haven’t met yet, but when we do, please trust that you are in good hands. It is my absolute pleasure to assist in your care. I started my career doing an internship at a prestigious children’s hospital in the Texas Medical Center on an adolescent GI unit where I was able to work with individuals with eating related disorders. I then went on to complete my Bachelors in Nursing Degree and began working as a Registered Nurse in a Pediatric Unit caring for the psychiatric population.

I am a highly compassionate child, adolescent adult psychoanalyst and psychiatrist.I speak several languages including Farsi,have had the pleasure of working with patients of all ages from various cultures. I enjoy working with children, adolescents, young adults especially college students. While at UCLA I was awarded the Certificate of Honor in Recognition of Outstanding Achievement In Human Relations and Communication which led me to pursue a career in psychiatry.

I am a board certified psychiatrist with a telepsychiatric practice seeing patients in Florida and NY. I am licensed in Both Florida and New York states. My concierge practice specializes in medication management to treat psychiatric issues including ADHD, anxiety, depression, and all other psychiatric needs of the patient. I approach each client in a nonjudgmental manner to help decrease and eliminate symptoms and achieve treatment goals. I integrate complementary methodologies and techniques to offer a highly personalized approach tailored to each individual.

I am a board-certified family psychiatric nurse practitioner. I have verifiable experience in treating variety of psychiatric disorders such as; mood disorders including resistant depression, eating disorders, ADHD, OCD, PTSD, schizophrenia, stress and sleep related disorders.

I assess, diagnose, prescribe, and treat individuals with mental health needs across the lifespan. I am an allopathic physician trained in child and adolescent psychiatry. I have a faculty appointment at Yale Univ. School of Medicine - treating the most complex mental illness in the country. I am conducting psychedelic trials for treatment resistant depression as well collaborate with leader in pediatric anxiety disorders. All of this towards the singular goal of affecting meaningful change that helps patients (and their families, necessarily).

I am a warm and energetic Child, Adolescent, and Adult Psychiatrist who uses a more interactive approach to treatment. I provide Psychotherapy-Oriented Medication Management and Supportive/Insight-Oriented Psychotherapy, integrating positive psychology and breathing techniques as needed. I offer 45-min sessions to all patients to meet their evolving needs. I also work closely with other medical and/or mental health practitioners caring for my patients. My ideal client is someone who wishes to take a more comprehensive approach to their overall care. This individual could be experiencing a first time mental health concern but isn’t interested in a medicine only approach. This individual can also be someone who has experienced the traditional approach to care where medications are always the answer and wants something different for themselves. Medications are an important tool in psychiatry but we believe in taking a comprehensive approach to care. Allowing the body to do what nature designed by properly caring for the whole person can lead to improved outcomes for our patients.

She is currently an attending physician at Long Island Jewish Medical Center & Cohen Children’s Medical Center, specializing in Emergency Adult & Pediatric Psychiatry. In addition to her expertise in adult psychiatry, Dr. Chikvashvili is one of the few doctors with experience in treating children of all ages.
