I am a board-certified psychiatrist. As a physician, I diagnose and treat a wide range of mental disorders such as depression, anxiety, and bipolar disorder. I also work with people who are suffering in life from issues such as relationship or career concerns, grief and loss, life transitions, or identity issues. I will help you to know yourself better so you can experience life more fully.

I am a Columbia University trained psychiatrist and psychotherapist and the Medical Director of Greene Clinic. My treatment model combines evidence based psychotherapies, medications, nutrition and complementary/alternative interventions with the goal of providing comprehensive, well rounded, and individually focused care. Psychotherapy is central to my work and I utilize a variety of modalities including interpersonal psychoanalysis, psychodynamic psychotherapy, mindfulness, and cognitive behavioral therapy (CBT). My approach is collaborative and non-authoritarian. OUT of network for all insurances.

I use a number of psychotherapeutic modalities with a particular focus on psychodynamic psychotherapy. Where appropriate, I prescribe carefully tailored medication in conjunction with psychotherapy to help my clients meet their goals. I am experienced in treating a wide range of mental health problems including anxiety, depression, insomnia, bipolar disorder, ADHD, alcohol and other substance use disorders, PTSD, grief and interpersonal conflict. I prescribe based on the best available scientific evidence and my clinical experience, and have no affiliation with any pharmaceutical company.

Hi! I am a licensed and board certified psychiatric nurse practitioner trained at Yale. I offer psychiatric evaluation, therapy, and medication management services via telehealth for NY residents. I speak fluent English, Cantonese, and Mandarin. I received my Bachelors Degree from the University of Pennsylvania, where I majored in the Biological Basis of Behavior and competed on the Men's Varsity Swimming Team. After graduating and prior to medical school, I became a private high school science teacher. I completed my Psychiatry residency at the Icahn School of Medicine at Mount Sinai in NYC, where I was selected as Chief Resident. During that time, I also completed a Psychodynamic Fellowship at New York Psychoanalytic Society and Institute. I then completed a Clinical Research Fellowship at the National Institute of Mental Health with a focus on Depression and Anxiety.

Victoriya utilizes a culturally competent and holistic approach that is tailored to each client’s individual needs, understanding that everyone’s path to wellbeing is a unique journey. She combines her knowledge of psychopharmacology and psychotherapy to provide each client with a treatment plan that aligns with their goals and lifestyle. James Dusenbury, offers medication assessment and management. HE is licensed as a Psychiatric Nurse Practitioner in New York State. Additionally, he holds a National Board Certification in Psychiatry from the ANCC. James has over 15 years of experience in psychiatry and started his own private practice, Different Approach Therapy, inc. . He has worked in both clinical and administrative roles at Bellevue and Mount Sinai Hospitals, and Jacobi Medical Center. James has also worked in the psychiatric emergency room at Coney Island Hospital.

Many of my patients found only temporary relief from prior treatments and are interested in a real change. If you are motivated and prefer someone who does not recommend medications easily and believes in getting to the root of problems, I may be the person for you. I am a very experienced clinician, providing individualized treatment based on thorough assessment and refers you to therapists who would be a better match for you. I have trained at Cornell and Columbia and I am on the faculty at both places. I am a training and supervising analyst at Columbia and am expert in TFP (Transference Focused Psychotherapy).

I am well-versed in psychotherapy and natural healing and use various modalities to help individuals regain both emotional and physical health. Dr. Marken is a Columbia- and Cornell-trained, board-certified adult and child/adolescent psychiatrist. He was on faculty at Harvard Medical School and is now on faculty at New York University. Dr. Marken predominantly provides psychotherapy and/or medication management. He has a patient-centered approach that provides thorough and individualized care for your particular needs. As a physician, Dr. Marken focuses on the interaction between the biological, the psychological, and the environmental contributors to mental health. He is a member of the International Society for Sports Psychiatry and works with athletes at all levels.

My therapeutic approach is to combine best clinical psychotherapy and psychopharmacology practices informed by contemporary neuroscience. Rather than focusing on diagnosis and disease, I am oriented toward maximizing health and wellness.
