She works with patients suffering from anxiety,depression, panic, obsessive-compulsive disorder (OCD) and OC-Related disorders, hoarding, perfectionism, body dysmorphia and eating disorders. Dr. Batista provides care across the lifespan including perinatal mental health consultation for pre-pregnancy planning, during pregnancy, postpartum and menopause. Dr. Elizabeth L Leung is a board certified psychiatrist, who trained at New York Medical College and Icahn School of Medicine with fellowship training in psychosomatic medicine. Dr. Leung has expertise in treating depression, anxiety, bipolar disorder, ADHD, OCD, relationship difficulties, adjustment issues, trauma, and grief. In an effort to stay current with all fields in psychiatry, she attends major academic conferences. Dr. Leung currently has affiliation with multiple prestige institutes and is associate clinical professor at Hoftra School of Medicine at Northwell Health.

I am board certified in both general psychiatry and child & adolescent psychiatry. As such, I not only see children and adolescents but also young adults. I prefer to work with this age group but I will consider working with middle-aged adults as long as it is a good "fit" for my practice. Also please know that my practice is not in any insurance networks, though we will submit all billing to your insurance so that you can collect any out-of-network benefits.
