James has over 15 years of experience in psychiatry and started his own private practice, Different Approach Therapy, inc. . He has worked in both clinical and administrative roles at Bellevue and Mount Sinai Hospitals, and Jacobi Medical Center. James has also worked in the psychiatric emergency room at Coney Island Hospital.

Chris completed his graduate training in psychiatry at New York University and holds undergraduate degrees from the University of Southern California and Miami Dade College. Chris Lee has trained at some of the nation's top mental health facilities including Bellevue Hospital's Psychiatric Emergency Department and St. Luke's-Roosevelt Hospital in New York City. He is a California native but has called Miami home for 17 years.
