Hi! I am a board certified psychiatric nurse practitioner, specializing in child and adolescent psychiatry. I have over 10 years of clinical experience in a wide range of settings, and doctoral training. I bring a compassionate and warm approach to providing holistic, individualized and evidence-based treatment approaches.  My clients appreciate my delicate and humorous style.

People often reach out to me when they're feeling anxious, stuck, or just overwhelmed. I make it a point to really tune in and understand what my patients are going through. I enjoy getting to know my patients deeply and forming a collaborative relationship so that we can work together to figure out a plan that works. My main aim is to help you start feeling more like yourself (or even better!) as quickly as possible.

Please note I do not provide therapy- we have therapist available. My specialty is medication management. ADHD Certifled Specialist. Our bilingual (Spanish/English) practice treats people of different backgrounds, cultures, socioeconomic statuses, races, sexual orientations, and gender. Our expertise includes the treatment of major depression, bipolar disorder, anxiety, psychotic spectrum disorders, as well as attention and concentration issues (ADHD). Hi! I’m a New York City-based double-board certified psychiatrist working with adults, adolescents, and children. My work centers around psychotherapy; including developmentally appropriate psychodynamic, CBT, and play therapies. In addition, my approach to psychiatric medications is to meet individuals and families where they are at. I work with people who want to seek deeper growth and meaning without numbing what makes them human. As for my background – I trained at BU and Mount Sinai, and have worked at both The New School and as lead psychiatrist at the Columbia University Medical Center counseling center.

Great to meet you! I am a board-certified psychiatric mental health nurse practitioner (PMHNP-BC). I received my Master of Science in Nursing from the University of South Alabama. My background experience includes emergency room, adult psychiatric inpatient hospital, outpatient clinic, geriatric inpatient hospital, and eating disorder inpatient and outpatient clinics. I also speak Spanish and Portuguese.

I was born and raised in Athens, Greece and attended medical school in Padua, Italy. I completed my psychiatric residency at Mount Sinai West (formerly known as St. Luke's Roosevelt) hospital in New York. I completed my sex therapy training at the University of Michigan. I have extensive experience working with the LGBTQIA+ population. I am able to conduct evaluations and write letters for gender marker changes, hormone therapy, and gender affirming surgery procedures. Furthermore I am working with non-monogamy/polyamory, BDSM/Kink, relationship issues, sex therapy, sex work and trauma issues.

Dr. Lourdes J Chahin is a bilingual (Spanish) Child, Adolescent and Adult psychiatrist. She has practiced in various settings over her career: outpatient private practice, community mental health, Nurse Practitioners and medical student supervision, partial hospitalization and dual diagnosis rehabilitation programs. She is licensed in the states of NY, Fl and GA. She has over 20 years of experience helping children, adolescents and adults who struggle with anxiety, depression, OCD, ADHD, phobias, bipolar mood disorder and many other psychiatric conditions.

Dr. Yina Cruz-Harris treats an array of psychiatric diagnoses across the lifespan, ranging from ADHD, depression, GAD, and ODD to aggression, insomnia, and mood disorders. Dr. Cruz-Harris is bilingual and fluent in Spanish.

Dr. Dara Fernandez is an experienced bilingual (Spanish), double board certified Adult, Child and Adolescent Psychiatrist, sought after for her caring and warm nature; therapeutic and professional persona; and ability to provide expert mental health care. Her experience spans a wide breadth of clinical experience: academic psychiatry, child and adolescent’s mental health, college/young adult mental health, eating disorder inpatient and outpatient care, acute psychiatric inpatient care, outpatient psychotherapy, and medication management.

During consultations, I focus on being supportive and understanding while at the same time being a very thorough professional. I have over thirty years of experience in various levels of care, assisting and guiding clients to adjust to new life situations. Taking the necessary time to listen to you helps me make the best evaluation and together we come up with a treatment plan. Before establishing my practice in the United States, I have also had a wide range of experience in Brazil, where for fifteen years, I worked as a clinical psychiatrist and taught medical students and psychiatry residents.I lecture in conferences as well.

I work with an amazing group of colleagues at Lavender, an online psychiatry and therapy office, where we believe psychiatric care shouldn't be expensive nor impossible to access.

I am a board certified psychiatrist treating adolescents and adults suffering from stress related issues that are causing dysfunction in your life. Some issues are as simple as learning healthy coping skills and having a support system that understands you. If you are suffering from a new onset or chronic illness such as bipolar, depression, substance use disorder, or anxiety, our practice will provide both medication and therapy to help in certain cases. You will receive an individualized treatment plan tailored to your specific needs. We provide concierge service (travel) to you in the comfort of your home or office-(postponed).

I am a double board certified addiction and family medicine physician specializing in treating addiction disorders. I completed my medical training at Albert Einstein Yeshiva University, and Fellowships in Addiction Medicine at Yale University School of Medicine and Palliative Care at Mount Sinai-Beth Israel. I am an Assistant Professor Adjunct in Medicine, in the addiction medicine program at Yale University School of Medicine, and Associate Clinical Professor at City University of New York School of Medicine.
