I am an Assistant Professor Adjunct in Medicine, in the addiction medicine program at Yale University School of Medicine, and Associate Clinical Professor at City University of New York School of Medicine.

Perry Githens has sound experience in substance abuse, long-term care settings, outpatient, and acute inpatient settings with pediatric and adult populations. He has experience in all different areas, such as residential substance abuse, alcohol use disorder, inpatient geriatric psychiatry with dementia, and mental illness in the elderly.

I treat children and adults affected by various mental illness with care and compassion. I utilize Evidence Based Practice model to make treatment choices. I am specialized in treating ADHD, depression, anxiety and mood instability. Stimulant and non stimulant treatment are available. I do conduct ADHD screening and testing before treatment.

Dr. Rodriguez is a board-certified Columbia-trained psychiatrist who graduated from Stanford with honors and distinction and from UCSF with MD and PhD degrees. He completed adult psychiatry residency training at Columbia University, and he is currently a research fellow. I completed my psychiatric nurse practitioner training at NYU with a clinical focus in child/adolescent psychiatry. Since then I have worked extensively with adolescents coming out of intensive care programs for psychosis and children/adolescents with neurodiversity. I am also an adjunct faculty at NYU School of Nursing teaching inpatient psychiatric clinicals. A typical initial evaluation is 90 minutes and the follow-ups are 30 minutes.
