Whatever challenges you face, it is my experience that you can work through them when you are motivated to explore what you don't know about yourself and have a good fit with a skilled psychotherapist who understands you. Respectively, I practice psychoanalytic psychotherapy, an approach that most therapists choose for themselves because it is so transformative. It is particularly helpful for long-term and difficult-to-change issues, providing long-lasting growth and psychic relief. While I won't give you "tools" or homework, I will help you foster new ways to listen to your soul so you can create a satisfactory life worth living.
My approach works well for people who are in pain (mental and/or physical) and are curious why. For this type of treatment to be effective, we will meet at least once weekly individually or more frequently if deeper work is desired. Please note that I do not accept insurance for your privacy (insurance companies can read all your private information).
I have a physical private practice location in a historical building in the beautiful Finger Lakes Region of New York States and am licensed and provide virtual treatment in the following states: AK, AZ, CA, CT, FL, MA, MI, NV, NY, OR, VA, and WA. I treat adults and adolescents. Lastly, I run group psychotherapy with people from all across the country.
