Medication works great to clear that storm cloud over your head, but medication is not the quick fix many people think it is. Medication clears the way for the real work to begin in consistent, regular weekly or twice-weekly therapy sessions. Psychotherapy plus medication is considered the gold standard treatment for many mental health problems.
