Dr. Emmanuel Anyanwu, DNP, APN-BC, PMHNP-BC is a Doctoral-Prepared and Board-Certified psychiatric mental health nurse practitioner providing a holistic and comprehensive mental health services to clients across all ages. I am registered in NJ and NY. If you are struggling with Depression and Anxiety, Bipolar and Schizophrenia, Personality Disorders, ADHD, PTSD and Substance Use, Dr. Emmanuel is here to help. I have over 15 years clinical background in nursing and psychiatric mental health and substance use. I am Dr Obinna Ezealor, DNP, PMHNP-BC, owner/founder of KAL Behavioral Health Inc. I have an extensive psychiatric experience, having worked for over 12 years in one of the NJ state-established long-term psychiatric hospital and experience in General and Addiction Psychiatry. I also have experience working both in inpatient and outpatient psychiatric settings, and treating clients from various ethnic and cultural groups. I am a highly motivated and organized individual passionate about caring for the mental health and addiction population, and my philosophy is to tailor each client’s care to their need.

Dr. Christopher Hannon is a Board Certified Psychiatric and Mental Health Nurse Practitioner. He obtained his Doctor of Nursing Practice degree from the University of Louisville. His training covers mental health treatment across the lifespan including psychopharmacological management of psychiatric conditions and a host of therapeutic modalities. Areas of particular interest include trauma/PTSD, depression/anxiety, substance use disorders, as well as stigma around mental illness and in general.

I am a Board-Certified Advanced Psychiatric Nurse Practitioner (PMHNP-BC). My work experiences, since June 2021, include providing proficient psychiatric assessment, diagnosing mental health conditions, medication management, hospital psychiatric liaison consultation, treating diverse psychiatric disorders across the life span, and providing collaborative care. I have over twenty-five years’ experience of psychiatric care as an RN, managing patients with mental health crises, and caring for clients in both short and long-term settings. My professional strengths include use of evidence-based treatment approach.

I am a Board Certified Psychiatrist committed to providing comprehensive and compassionate care to patients. I completed a residency training in General and Adult Psychiatry at Richmond University Medical Center, Staten Island, New York, an affiliate program of the Mount Sinai Icahn School of Medicine, New York. My treatment approach is based on the understanding that every individual is unique in their experience and needs. After a careful assessment of your symptoms, I will work with you in creating the treatment plan that suits you best.

Here at the Venn Center, we offer patients a unique therapeutic experience. I conduct psychiatric evaluations and assessments, as well as provide both individual and group psychotherapy to clients of all ages. I also offer pharmacotherapy and medication management when appropriate. That being said, 25% of my patients are not on any medication since I employ non-medicinal interventions that help remediate psychiatric symptoms whenever possible. Offering these complementary services allows the clients I work with to feel empowered in their desire for change toward a healthier way of being.

The practice of Child and Adolescent Psychiatry, as well as Adult Psychiatry, is as exciting as it is varied. This specialty is truly one of the last bastions in modern medicine that allows the practitioner to 'connect' with the patient, and one where the value of the patient's input is not underestimated. My clinical interests include childhood and adolescent depression, other mood disorders, ADHD, child and adolescent anxiety disorders such as OCD, and post traumatic stress disorder. For fees, I work flexibly with those patients who have out of network coverage so they are reimbursed.

I like to think my practice offers something for everyone. I am a child, adolescent, and adult psychiatrist, so I can prescribe medications, but I am also a therapist. Many patients like the idea of their psychopharmacologist also being their therapist, because it means that I understand my patients as whole persons, and can minimize the amount of medication necessary. In some cases problems can be addressed with therapy alone, by helping patients identify and manage their emotions. For patients who prefer to work with someone else as therapist, I can function solely as the psychopharmacologist.

I am board certified in both Adult psychiatry and Child & Adolescent psychiatry. I have expertise in the use of customized and collaborative therapeutic approaches including individual therapy, CBT, sports psychiatry, supportive therapy and family therapy. I complete a very detailed assessment in order to provide the most appropriate care and treatment plan. As a physician, I also recognize that at times medications are indicated in the recovery process. When appropriate, I will work with you on personalized medication management.

I am dedicated to providing personalized and quality psychiatric care to help clients live more fulfilling lives. I use an integrated approach encompassing nutrition, supplements, exercise, sleep, psychotherapy, and only if necessary, medication. My child, adolescent, and adult psychiatry training was completed at Rutgers Robert Wood Johnson Medical School where I continue to serve as a Clinical Assistant Professor.

Olasumbo Joseph Oladeru (RN, BSN, PMHNP-BC) is a licensed advanced nurse practitioner who specializes in psychiatric mental health. A graduate of Monmouth University and Immaculata University, Joseph is experienced in providing treatment for addictions and psychiatric disorders including depression, anxiety, bipolar, schizophrenia, attention-deficit hyperactivity disorder and opioid addictions. He is also certified in Medication Assisted Treatment. Joseph has devoted his life to providing professional care that is ethical, accessible and compassionate. With more than 23 years of healthcare and nursing experience, Joseph is driven
