Total Wellness Center is psychiatry and counseling practice that offers treatment both in-person and via Telehealth. With offices in New Jersey and Connecticut, all of our doctors come from Ivy league schools. We offer evening and weekends appointments and accept major insurance plans such as Horizon, Cigna, Aetna and others. Not all doctors and therapists are in-network with all insurances, please contact our office for more information on how to book an appointment. Aside from Medication management and Psychotherapy. we provide Hypnotherapy, Group therapy and divorce mediation.

I am Dr. Osman Jalloh (DNP), a board-certified Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner and an Adult Nurse Practitioner. My approach to mental health is addressing the person and pinpointing how their mental, physical, spiritual, and psychosocial well-being may contribute to their mental wellness. In addition to prescribing medications, I incorporate motivational interview, cognitive behavior therapy, dialectical behavioral therapy, and others in my treatment regimen. I listen to my patients as we develop a therapeutic relationship so that the patient and I can work together to attain and maintain future goals.

Dr. Shirley Rajan is a Psychiatrist in New Jersey who has been practicing since 2016. Dr. Rajan offers clients medication management and treatments for chronic self-harm, chronic suicidality, personality disorders and utilizes dialectical behavioral therapy. Outside of work, Dr. Rajan enjoys softball, archery, bowling, and movies.

Ideally my patient is as invested in their care as I am. They could have a variety of diagnoses but the thing they have in common is they are willing to give the process time, are open to new ideas, and know there is no magic pill to fix all their problems. My patients want to get to the best version of themselves and are willing to try therapy as well as medications to help them reach that goal. My patient wants an empathetic, listening provider who can guide their care based on the evidence, but tailored to their individual needs.

I completed my residency from Tufts University in Boston, Massachusetts and my Fellowship in Addictions from the Robert Johnson Wood Foundation. I have experience working with adults as well as adolescents suffering from both psychiatric diagnosis and substance use disorders and have extensive experience working in both out-patient and in-patient settings.

TMR is a comprehensive private practice. We offer psychopharmacology and psychotherapy to people of all ages. We offer psychotherapy to individuals, couples, and families. Our staff consists of a Psychiatric Nurse Practitioner, Psychotherapists (Licensed Clinical Social Workers and Professional Counselors), Nutritionist, and Clinical Psychologists who perform psychological testing and evaluations.
