When requested by my patients, I combine conventional medications with functional and integrative medicine approaches to address concerns like anxiety, depression, and ADHD. I'm passionate about empowering individuals to find their own motivation for a healthy life. She has practiced for over 12 years in various capacities in healthcare serving patients and their families. Because she understands the interconnectedness of mental and physical health, she works collaboratively with each patient to prioritize and meet their mental health needs. I worked as an RN on a trauma step-down unit, helping patients who had endured bodily trauma and patients withdrawing from substances. The clinical experience I received during my training was largely with inpatient mood disorder and forensic psychiatric populations with anxiety, depression, bipolar disorder, schizophrenia, and schizoaffective disorder. When I began to work as a psychiatric nurse practitioner, that experience influenced my decision to focus on mental health.
