I specialize in treating patients with varying mental health disorders including but not limited to ADHD, depression, sleep disturbance, bipolar and anxiety disorders with those struggling with substance abuse.

Here at the Venn Center, we offer patients a unique therapeutic experience. I conduct psychiatric evaluations and assessments, as well as provide both individual and group psychotherapy to clients of all ages. I also offer pharmacotherapy and medication management when appropriate. That being said, 25% of my patients are not on any medication since I employ non-medicinal interventions that help remediate psychiatric symptoms whenever possible. Offering these complementary services allows the clients I work with to feel empowered in their desire for change toward a healthier way of being.

I am board certified in Child & Adolescent psychiatry and provide medication management and psychotherapy services to children, adolescents and young adults, ages 8-21, with mental health conditions, including but not limited to ADHD, Depression, OCD, Panic, Mood Disorder, Stress, and Anxiety. I have been practicing psychiatry for over 17 years and was recognized by the NJ Top Doctor magazine as a Top Psychiatrist in 2019. I provide help using a comprehensive approach to treatment. I have frequent sessions with patients which allows me to monitor them closely to minimize side effects.

For fees, I work flexibly with those patients who have out of network coverage so they are reimbursed.

Dr. Eric Finkiel, DNP, PMHNP-BC, is a dual board-certified Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner (PMHNP) and a Family Nurse Practitioner (FNP). Eric completed his undergraduate education in nursing at New Jersey City University. He received a master’s degree as a Family Nurse Practitioner from Rutgers University, and a post graduate certificate as a PMHNP from the University of Cincinnati. Eric went on to receive his Doctor of Nursing Practice (DNP) from University of Massachusetts, Boston. Eric has been working as a nurse practitioner for over seven years and has extensive experience treating a variety of medical diagnosis.

Dr. Issac is an experienced addiction and general psychiatrist with eight years of experience. He has helped many overcome their mental health challenges. Issac evaluates, diagnoses, and treats people based on their medical pathology, nutritional, and hormonal health. People suffering from addictions, or with other mental health challenges, such as anxiety, and depression, can recover with the correct diagnosis and treatment. Combining medications with psychotherapy, Dr. Issac considers various medical factors to treat his patients; he plans comprehensive treatments.
