I was trained in CBT and was given the Excellence in Cognitive Behavioral Therapy during my residency program. I use supportive therapy with each client I see. Hello, I'm Dani, a Family Nurse Practitioner with certifications in Geriatrics and Counseling. My goal is to ensure that patients have easy and immediate access to healthcare. When requested by my patients, I combine conventional medications with functional and integrative medicine approaches to address concerns like anxiety, depression, and ADHD. I'm passionate about empowering individuals to find their own motivation for a healthy life. In addition to addressing behavioral health, I am capable of treating a wide range of conditions, both acute (skin and respiratory infections) and chronic (pre-diabetes, diabetes, HTN, and pain)

If you or your child no longer feel real joy, I’d like to help. The core of my practice is judicious medication management. I’ve been doing this for many years: first as a nurse-midwife, now as a psychiatric nurse practitioner. I am still dual-credentialed in both. I treat people of all types, but most frequently children and perinatal women. My patients, big and small, grapple with issues like anxiety, trauma, depression, OCD and eating disorders. Issues around fertility, pregnancy, parenting and menopause remain among my strengths, even though I rarely deliver babies anymore (and I miss it, sometimes!). My approach is holistic.

Dr. Simbiat Adighije (Dr. Sim) has 14+ years of experience in treating adults with PTSD, depression, anxiety, ADHD, Bipolar disorder and weight management. She practices as a Board Certified Psychiatric and Mental Health NP with a wealth of education & experience. Dr. Sim graduated Summa Cum Laude from Rutgers University with Bachelors and Masters of Science degrees in Nursing. She further received a Medical Degree and PhD in Public Health from University of Science, Arts and Technology, Montserrat (Florida campus). She believes in a personalized treatment plan for each patient be it medication therapy and/or psychotherapy.
