We discuss your diagnosis with you and offer you treatment choices with medication management, therapy or combination to support your mental health care goals and maximize your recovery.

I'm a New Jersey, board-certified psychiatric mental health nurse practitioner (PMHNP-BC). I practice utilizing up-to-date evidence-based guidelines, clinical expertise, and professional experience. I diagnose, manage and treat a wide range of mental health concerns, including bipolar disorder, depression, anxiety, obsessive-compulsive disorder, ADD/ADHD, mild substance use disorders, and others.

Accepting New Patients. I'm a dual certified FNP/ PMHNP. Taking a holistic approach is important to me and I feel this approach is of most benefit for my clients. I enjoy helping all types of clients but I gravitate towards working with individuals who are reaching out for help for the first time. This is because I feel I offer a positive initial encounter that will encourage them to continue seeking help in order to reach their goals but I will work with any client that needs assistance. We offer affordable out-of-pocket rates. Accepting some insurances.

Benedicta has over 23 years of experience in Psychiatric and mental health as a nurse and she has many years of Nursing home experience working with elderly patients with Alzheimer's disease and other health issues. Benedicta obtained her bachelor's from the University of Phoenix and Master of Science with a focus on Psychiatric Mental Health throughout life span from Walden University. Benedicta is board-certified with the American Nurses Credentialing Center (ANCC) as a Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner (PMHNP-BC).

Dr. Altagracia Gomez Aracena is a Child & Adolescent Psychiatry Specialist. She graduated Magna Cum Laude from the Instituto Tecnologico and completed her residency and subsequently her fellowship in Child and Adolescent Psychiatry at the Icahn School of Medicine at Mount Sinai, New York, where she was appointed Chief in both programs. She has been working as an attending psychiatrist at Robert Wood Johnson- Barnabas Health covering adult program and the child and adolescent outpatient clinic. Dr. Gomez Aracena provides non-judgmental and compassionate care and strategies to achieve and embrace one's full potential.

For every problem, there are solutions: I have witnessed personal change, growth at any age. Together we identify the issue(s), talking support CBT therapy and/or medication including natural complementary, exercises, work coaching. For fees, I work flexibly with those patients who have out of network coverage so they are reimbursed.
