In my capacity as a Psychiatric Nurse Practitioner, my profound empathy propels my dedication to comprehending and aiding individuals navigating mental health obstacles. I approach each individual with empathy, fostering a therapeutic connection to facilitate healing and overall wellness.

Dr. Jake works with patients of all backgrounds to collaboratively target mental health concerns. Areas of focus include ADHD, anxiety, depression, OCD, PTSD, bipolar, addiction, and psychosis.

Sadness, ADD, addiction, relationships, other anguish? No matter what pain you bear, there is hope, with care, scientific evidence, and if needed legal help. For every problem, there are solutions: I have witnessed personal change, growth at any age. For children: identity and learning; for adults work/other responsibilities, or staying active and fully enjoying the wisdom of a mature life. Together we identify the issue(s), talking support CBT therapy and/or medication including natural complementary, exercises, work coaching. For fees, I work flexibly with those patients who have out of network coverage so they are reimbursed.

I specialize in providing treatment for ADD / ADHD, OCD, ODD, and Mood Disorders for patients of all ages. I have completed a fellowship in Child and Adolescent Psychiatry and will partner with young patients and their parents to provide an effective strategy to restore balance and harmony for all. Consultations are conducted to establish rapport and create a safe and trustworthy environment.

Dr. Adetunji is Board Certified in General Adult Psychiatry, Forensic Psychiatry, Addiction Medicine and Psychological Medicine. He was trained in Psychiatry in England (At the prestigious Guys and St Thomas’s Hospital, London) as well as in USA (Drexel University College of Medicine, Philadelphia). He completed fellowship training in Forensic Psychiatry at the New York University Medical Center. Dr Adetunji is well versed in addiction medicine and child and adolescent psychiatry. He is certified to prescribe Buprenorphine (Suboxone) for opioid addiction.

I am a board-certified psychiatrist and psychotherapist practicing in NY, NJ, and via telehealth. I completed psychiatry residency training at Columbia University and I am now an Instructor in Clinical Psychiatry at Columbia. I work with clients struggling with a wide range of mental health problems, including stress, life transitions, relationship difficulties, work and school issues. I specialize in both medication management and psychotherapy for the treatment of the following psychiatric conditions: anxiety, panic, depression, OCD, and adult ADHD.
