Providing care with empathy and compassion is paramount for all new or recurring mental health / behavioral diagnoses. We manage care using both pharmacological and non-pharmacological / holistic intervention.

My team and I specialize in child and adolescent psychiatry but have also seen adult clients for nearly 20 years. The bulk of our practice has been anxiety, ADHD and mood disorders in children, adolescents and adults. We have extensive experience with medication management of all levels of pathology from simple trouble focusing in school to suicidal or self-injurious behavior. We also work with special services schools to successfully reduce symptoms related to intellectual disability, mild to severe autism and/or developmental delays. Additionally, another specialty of ours is court-ordered psychiatric evaluations.

I am Board-Certified in both Adult and Child and Adolescent Psychiatry. I have 25 years experience doing evaluations, psychopharmacology, and/or psychotherapy. I have expertise working with most psychiatric disorders, including ADHD, Depression, Suicide Risk Assessment, Bipolar Disorder, OCD, Panic Disorder, Anxiety Disorders, and Psychosis.

Hello, I'm Dani, a Family Nurse Practitioner with certifications in Geriatrics and Counseling. My goal is to ensure that patients have easy and immediate access to healthcare. When requested by my patients, I combine conventional medications with functional and integrative medicine approaches to address concerns like anxiety, depression, and ADHD. I provide medication management for Depression, Anxiety, Bipolar Disorder, PTSD, Trauma, Sleep or Insomnia, and includes Motivational Interviewing, CBT, and Solution-Based. This is a telehealth-only practice. In essence, we do not initiate a controlled medication (such as benzodiazepines), by DEA regulations. Private pay rates are $150 for follow-up and $275 for initial evaluation. My goal as a psychiatric nurse practitioner is to provide compassionate, holistic, and evidence-based care to individuals struggling with mental health challenges.

I like to think my practice offers something for everyone. I am a child, adolescent, and adult psychiatrist, so I can prescribe medications, but I am also a therapist. Many patients like the idea of their psychopharmacologist also being their therapist, because it means that I understand my patients as whole persons, and can minimize the amount of medication necessary. In some cases problems can be addressed with therapy alone, by helping patients identify and manage their emotions. For patients who prefer to work with someone else as therapist, I can function solely as the psychopharmacologist.

I am board certified in both Adult psychiatry and Child & Adolescent psychiatry. I have expertise in the use of customized and collaborative therapeutic approaches including individual therapy, CBT, sports psychiatry, supportive therapy and family therapy. I complete a very detailed assessment in order to provide the most appropriate care and treatment plan. As a physician, I also recognize that at times medications are indicated in the recovery process. When appropriate, I will work with you on personalized medication management.

Welcome to my practice. I am a dual board-certified Adult and Child- Adolescent Psychiatrist. I completed my General Psychiatry residency and Fellowship in Child- Adolescent Psychiatry from Icahn School of Medicine at Mount Sinai, New York, where I was appointed as chief fellow. I have been working as an attending psychiatrist with Rutgers University Behavioral Health Care, in the school-based programs, where I provide full range of psychiatric services to youths (5-21) in out of district therapeutic schools.
