A lot of clients are afraid to reach out for help either because of the stigma, fear to taking medication, or concerns of the medication side effects. The mental illness stigma have prevented a lot of people to reach out for help, believe me no human being is immune from mental illness. So please reach out for help ,and don't keep struggling or self medicating with illicit substances . Self medicating by illicit substance, used to be called addiction, will lead to dual diagnosis disorder. I
