Mariel Otter, DNP, CRNP-PMH has 12+ years of psychiatric experience. She is rated by U.S. News & World Report Health as a treatment expert for depression, anxiety, and bipolar disorder. Her interests include social health in teens & older adults, mid-life transitions, OCD, autism, trauma, personality disorders, & inflammatory/autoimmune disease. I am accepting new patients. I see patients with the following concerns: depression, anxiety, trauma or PTSD, anger, irritability, OCD spectrum disorders, alcohol and substance use, schizophrenia, bipolar disorder, ADHD, and other cognitive concerns such as dementia. I also care for patients with sexual disorders, and personality disorders such as borderline or avoidant personality disorders. I specialize in caring for women either planning pregnancy, during, or with postpartum depression, OCD or anxiety symptoms. I welcome patients with cross-cultural concerns. I welcome patients from the veteran and the LGBTQ+ community.

Victorine (Vicky) Ngang is a psychiatric mental health nurse practitioner specialized in treating patients with mental illnesses in and Maryland. She is board certified with the American Nurses Credentialing Center. After working as a registered nurse in several settings, she decided to further her education with a specialty in mental health. Her inspiration was driven by the stigma associated with mental health illnesses in the communities. She is a community advocate of mental illness and her grit is to bridge the gap between physical and mental health as well as reduce the stigma about mental health.

I’m a double board certified child & adult psychiatrist. I work with two age groups: 3 to 17-year-olds with depression, anxiety, bipolar disorder, ADHD, PTSD/trauma, autism, & OCD. I’m LGB, Trans, Non-Binary & Genderqueer affirming with related training & experience. I also see 18 to 32-year-olds who are BIPOC (Black, Indigenous, People of Color), autistic or LGBTQIA2S+, especially gender diverse folks. I can do assessments for gender affirming surgery. I’ve limited my adult intakes to improve access to care for marginalized populations due to a shortage of psychiatrists trained in providing affirming care.
