Michael They is a board-certified Psychiatric nurse practitioner. He is treating children, adolescent, and adults who has ADHD, Depression, Anxiety Disorders, Insomnia (eg. Panic Disorder, GAD, PTSD, OCD), Mood Disorders, bipolar, schizophrenia, erectile dysfunction, alcohol use disorder and drug use disorder.

Dr. Wang is a Board Certified Psychiatrist licensed to diagnose and treat common mental health illnesses, including, depression,anxiety,bipolar disorders, schizophrenia, and personality disorders. Dr. Wang's philosophy of providing medication is to individualize the treatment according to people's diagnosis, symptom profile, treatment history, and other bio-psycho-social factors. Dr. Wang received his medical education at Tianjin Medical University in 1991. He also obtained a doctorate in urology from Tianjin Medical University in 1999. Before he moved to Los Angeles, he completed his four year psychiatry residency training at the University of North Dakota.

Welcome! As a double board-certified psychiatrist in child, adolescent, and adult psychiatry, I specialize in the evaluation and management of various mental health conditions and symptoms across the lifespan. I promote a compassionate and nonjudgmental treatment environment where you could be vulnerable, share concerns, and ask questions. My goal is to help you acquire the tools necessary by way of psychoeducation, therapy, and/or medications to forge a path through your current challenges.

Dr. Stephanie Chan is a double board-certified child/adolescent and adult psychiatrist. She empathically listens and thoroughly assesses from biological, psychological, social, and cultural lenses, for the most accurate diagnosis and treatment planning. She believes strongly that the success of treatment comes from collaboration between provider and patient, emphasizing on open communication and psychoeducation throughout the treatment process. Her approach involves various therapy modalities (including CBT, DBT-informed, psychodynamic, mindfulness), medication management when appropriate, or a combination of both.

Communication and trust are keys in psychiatry. I believe the best care can only be provided after fully understanding one from a combination of biological, psychological, social, and cultural perspectives. It is without a doubt that medication and therapy are essential when managing mental health illness, but I believe the beauty of psychiatry lies within psychoeducation as it empowers us to improve our self-awareness, coping mechanisms, and interpersonal skills.

As a faculty member of Kaweah Health Psychiatry Residency, I offer treatment approaches supported by current scientific evidence. Together, we will explore different options and devise a comprehensive and holistic plan built on trust and open communication. Our plan will be flexible based to your need and best interest as we understand the fluidity of life.
