As technology becomes more seamlessly woven into our lives, a person’s digital psycho-social experiences become equally important as a person’s real life. Other psychiatric interests include a focus on ADHD, impulse control disorders, anxiety, depression, OCD, and Tourette’s syndrome.

I welcome people of all ages and genders, but I have special expertise in working with women and adolescent girls who suffer from depression, mood swings, grief, anxiety, stress, trauma, self-injury, eating disorders, and/or ADHD. I see patients in person in Beverly Hills and in Redlands, California, and I also see patients via telepsychiatry throughout California. I use an approach that combines psychiatry-as-usual, that is, medications and therapy, with lifestyle changes in six domains. This involves customized strategies that may begin with therapy and medication, and can involve holistic planning including nutrition and activity to treat the whole person. She aligns with the idea that Nursing is the facilitation of healing, and works to provide intervention, education, and advocacy. Dr. Kelly is a Board Certified General Psychiatrist, Child & Adolescent Psychiatrist and Psychopharmacologist. After completing his training at the Johns Hopkins Hospital and directing their Residency Training Program, he moved back to Los Angeles and is currently a professor with UCLA. Due to high demand for his individualized services, he now also sees outpatients in two locations, Manhattan Beach and Beverly Hills. Dr. Kelly has multiple areas of focus in which he may be of particular help.
