I am a board certified psychiatric mental health nurse practitioner, treating patients ages 4 and up. I am also certified as a family nurse practitioner, which provides a broad base to individualize age appropriate treatment. We can meet and have our sessions through video on our telemedicine platform, so you can be at the comfort of your home while we meet. Amber is a board-certified psychiatric mental health nurse practitioner (PMHNP-BC) with more than 11 years of experience as a nurse. She recently earned her master's degree in nursing from Maryville University. She has spent the past four years of her career specializing in psychiatry, with experience in outpatient and inpatient settings. When meeting with Amber, you will be welcomed by an empathetic, holistic, and warm approach. She has experience helping clients struggling with depression, anxiety, ADHD, PTSD, insomnia, substance abuse, and other psychiatric conditions.

When meeting with me, you will feel warmth, empathy, and compassion. I am known for treating the whole person, fostering the instillation of hope, and believe everyone is deserving of emotional, physical, and social wellness. I attended The University of Colorado College of Nursing & Health Sciences, where I received a Master of Science in Nursing, specializing as a Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner (PMHNP).

Jo Ann Brown is a graduate of Indiana Wesleyan University and dually board-certified as a family and psychiatric nurse practitioner. She has been a graduate-trained nurse for nearly 25 years, and offers a broad range of experience across different specialties. In addition to working for private psychiatry clinics, she has practiced in primary care settings managing chronic medical conditions.

I see children, teens and adults with all types of mental health conditions. I can see patients virtually (in Colorado or Florida) or in my office in Sarasota Florida.
