I am an adult psychiatrist with 24 years of experience in treating patients who struggle with a large array of psychiatric diagnoses including psychosis, mania/bipolar disorder, depression, anxiety and substance abuse. I started my career as a researcher at NIDA working with children, adolescents and adults with ADD, ADHD, CD and ODD. I am a former sub-investigator for studies pivoting around psychosis, bipolar disorder and depression. My approach in treating patients is multifaceted, including psychopharmacology, individual, couple and family therapy, genetic testing, TMS, ECT.

Welcome to my practice! I am a Board Certified psychiatrist, who trained at Georgetown University Hospital where I served as chief educational fellow and at a Jefferson Medical College teaching hospital in Philadelphia, and in 2020, I opened my practice here to provide my expertise and psychiatric services to adults, including emerging adults residing in the DMV area. I currently serve as a psychiatric consultant at Northwestern Medicine in Illinois and other hospitals in Virginia and Pennsylvania. I specialize in treatment, provide consultation for patients struggling with various sleep, mood, anxiety disorders, and ADHD.

Ibrahim iftoni is a board Certified nurse practitioner in Psychiatry. He received his Master's degree from the University of Walden. He has been in the nursing field and mental health for over 15 years. His lengthy experience in both fields has allowed him to integrate nursing and mental health for the most effective treatment of his patients.

Dr. Hneich is Board Certified Psychiatrist and Fellow for the American Psychiatric Association. Dr Hneich also has a second specialty in Gynecology. She has extended experience in outpatient psychiatry, Inpatient psychiatry, and OB/GYN.Dr Hneich specialize in treated of ADHD, Depression, Anxiety, Panic disorder, Bipolar disorder. Dr Hneich has special interest in working in psychosomatic medicine and women mental health issues through adulthood- pregnancy- menopause.

I am a Georgetown University trained psychiatrist with an extensive postgraduate training and experience. I practice evidence-based psychopharmacology, psychodynamic psychotherapy and integrative medicine. I specialize in intense short-term dynamic psychotherapy (ISTDP) that can lead to rapid and permanent recovery from a wide range of problems including anxiety, depression, loneliness, self-esteem and relationship problems, anger management issues, self-destructive behaviors and psychosomatic conditions. This model of therapy is very efficient and often works, even when previous therapies failed, or were only partially successful.

I attended West Virginia University School of Medicine for both medical school and my residency training in Psychiatry. I am passionate about improving the lives of patients with mental illness through a combination of medication management and brief psychotherapy interventions. I practice Psychiatry using an integrative approach that includes coordination with other doctors, attempting to strengthen social supports, and encouraging healthy lifestyle choices.

Meet Kylie Wright – A psychiatric mental health nurse practitioner, with over 18 years of experience in the behavioral health field, who specializes in a wide variety of mental health illnesses. She works with adults, providing each patient with quality care while providing a safe and therapeutic environment. Kylie offers both medication management and counseling to aid in the recovery process.

Dr. Dong practices general adult psychiatry. She graduated from Tianjin Medical University, China and completed her psychiatric residency at University of Maryland and Sheppard Pratt Hospital. Dr. Dong served as a staff psychiatrist at Sheppard Pratt Hospital for two years. She specializes in depression, anxiety disorders, bipolar disorder, panic disorder, PTSD, OCD, ADHD, insomnia, trauma and relationship difficulties. Dr. Dong believes that medication management is most helpful when utilized in combination with psychotherapy.

My ideal client is the client who is coming to me ready to get to work to optimize their mental health.
