Hello, I am Dr. L.A Ogun-Semore DNP, PMHNP-BC, AGPCNP-CB, MHCA. I am a psychiatric provider, but I am not a physician, medical doctor, therapist, counselor, or life coach. Dual Board Certified as Adults Gerontology Primary Care Nurse Practitioner and Psychiatric Nurse Practitioner with over 16 years of combined work experience and have acquired an extensive background in telepsychiatry, inpatient, and outpatient mental health over the last 5 years.
I discuss and elaborate on both pharmacotherapeutic and psychotherapeutic interventions as treatment modalities so that we can both appreciate the decisions and choices we make using the aforementioned set of knowledge and values.
I believe it is important to consider biological, psychological, and social aspects when addressing behavioral health concerns which is why I work assiduously to develop a balanced, holistic care plan that will support each client in their journey of healing and growth. I am warm and approachable.
