About
Sometimes therapy is not enough. As a Board Certified Psychiatrist I am trained in medication management and psychotherapy. There is no need to see another physician for your medication. Many overwhelmed clients are forced to see both a therapist and a primary care doctor. Busy primary care doctors are often more comfortable and accustomed to treating diabetes and hypertension, than depression and anxiety. Their overloaded schedules make it difficult to collaborate with your therapist. I can simplify the process and provide the comprehensive mental health expertise you are looking for. Together, we can address both your chemical and psychological needs.
As a psychiatrist I take the most comprehensive approach in caring for your mental health. Unlike other mental health professionals I understand how your physical illnesses may impact your emotional health. I am experienced in treating adult ADD/ADHD, anxiety, insomnia, panic attacks, depression and bipolar disorder.
I enjoy treating challenging illnesses and welcome those seeking second opinions. I am comfortable managing psychiatric medications that many primary care doctors are reluctant to manage. New patient appointments are generally available within one to two weeks. Confidentiality and privacy are paramount, with flexible evening and weekend hours available.
