Greetings! I provide a full range of psychiatric care, focused on individuals' needs and often consisting of psychotherapy and/or medication treatment. I welcome your inquiries and would recommend meeting for an assessment and to establish a plan on how we can work together. My psychotherapeutic background is in psychodynamic and relational work with a holistic and humanistic approach. I have a particular interest in wellness practices and in the integration of psychedelics with medicine to expand the potential for psychotherapy.

Dr. Mattern is board certified in Adult psychiatry. Her approach to mental health is integrative, with utilization of complementary and alternative treatments such as yoga, lifestyle changes, and nutritional interventions in addition to traditional medication management and therapy. Dr. Mattern prefers to focus on the overall health and well-being of an individual, rather than just treating symptoms. Dr. Mattern’s practice focuses on medication management along with elements of therapy from different modalities, such as supportive and cognitive behavioral therapy that are patient-tailored.

Dr. Kim graduated from The Ohio State University with a BS in Psychology. She completed medical school at Wright State University Boonshoft School of Medicine in Dayton, Ohio. Dr. Kim was chief resident during her adult psychiatry training at The Ohio State University Wexner Medical Center. She continued on at OSUWMC for her fellowship in child and adolescent psychiatry in affiliation with Nationwide Children's Hospital in Columbus, Ohio. She was actively involved in the recruitment and education of medical students, residents, and fellows and also served as chief fellow in her final year of training.

Dr. O'Brien is a board eligible adult psychiatrist who completed his medical education at Northeast Ohio Medical University. Following his graduation from NEOMED, he completed a residency in Psychiatry and Behavioral Medicine at West Virginia University/Charleston Area Medical Center. Throughout his training, he has enjoyed working in both outpatient and hospital settings and has a great passion for medical education and teaching the next generation of mental healthcare providers.

Kimberly Cromer is a psychiatric mental health nurse practitioner with experience working with Bipolar, Schizophrenia, OCD, MDD, Anxiety, ODD, DMDD, trauma, and addictions. Kimberly has over 17 years of health care experience and has worked in a variety of settings including inpatient, outpatient, and community mental health. Kimberly has also worked with children and families struggling with mental health conditions.

I am a board-certified Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner (PMHNP-BC) and have 5 years of nursing experience in the psychiatric field ranging from child and adult inpatient care to community mental health crisis stabilization and substance abuse treatment. My focus is on the treatment of mood disorders, trauma, psychotic disorders, and chronic mental illness through psychiatric assessment, medication management, and psychotherapeutic intervention. I believe in creating an individualized plan of care that values client involvement.

Dr. Michael McFadden, MD Dr. Michael McFadden is a Psychiatrist in Ohio who has been practicing since 2017. He completed his residency in adult psychiatry at Summa Health System and Cleveland Clinic Akron General Hospital. Dr. McFadden completed his fellowship in child and adolescent psychiatry at Akron Children's Hospital. He is dual board-certified in child and adolescent and adult psychiatry. Dr. McFadden uses medication management in combination with cognitive behavioral, psychodynamic, and supportive therapies, and motivational interviewing with children and adolescents.

Courtney Brumfield is a Board Certified Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner that approaches treatment holistically and compassionately. She has extensive experience in mental health and medication management having worked with children, adolescents, and adults with psychiatric diagnosis, developmental disabilities, and varying levels of functioning. Her other areas of nursing experience include emergency medicine and medical/surgical inpatient. She is a member of the American Psychiatric Nurses Association and the Ohio Nurses Association.

Dr. Dass joined LifeStance Health from MetroHealth Medical Center, where he served as Medical Director of the Division of Child and Adolescent Psychiatry. He is certified by the American Board of Psychiatry and Neurology and serves as assistant professor for the Case Western Reserve University School of Medicine. He is a graduate of the Ohio University College of Osteopathic Medicine and served both his general psychiatry residency and child and adolescent psychiatry fellowship at University Hospitals of Cleveland.

Anna Popova, MSN, APRN, PMHNP-BC Anna Popova is a Board-Certified Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner in Ohio who has been practicing since 2017. She has a Master Science in Nursing, Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner from the University of Akron, a Bachelor of Science in Nursing from Ursuline College, is a Licensed Practical Nurse through ATS Institute of Technology, is a Certified Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner by the Ohio Board of Nursing and is ANCC certified as a Family Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner. She treats children as young as 4 years old, adolescents, adults, and seniors.

Dr. Theresa Backman is a board certified adult psychiatric nurse practitioner who has been providing medication management with supportive therapy since 2006. She has a Bachelor and Master of Science in Nursing from The Ohio State University and a Doctor of Nursing Practice from Case Western Reserve University. Dr. Backman is an Army Veteran and a Retired Reservist.

Robert Ussai is a board-certified psychiatric mental health nurse practitioner. He received his bachelor's and master's degrees in nursing from Kent State University. His previous experience includes work in hospital and community outpatient practice settings. He currently provides medication management for adults ages 18 to 64. His treatment areas of specialty include anxiety disorders, depression, bipolar disorder, schizophrenia and post-traumatic stress disorder (PTSD).

Dr. Arballo is board-certified psychiatrist who completed medical school at Lake Erie College of Osteopathic Medicine. He received residency training at University of Texas Health - San Antonio where in addition to clinical training was appointed resident chair of the Quality Improvement and Patient Safety Committee.

As a member of the Cleveland Clinic Quality Alliance, my new private practice in Rocky River leverages the resources of that large hospital system, including its electronic medical record system, to better serve my patients. I am a "complete" psychiatrist, paying particular attention to the ways that my patients' medical problems impact their emotional wellbeing. Leah Stallworth is a Nurse Practitioner in Ohio who has been practicing since 2002. She attended Indiana Wesleyan University for undergraduate and graduate education. Steve is Certified Psychiatric Nurse Practitioner (CNP) with a focus on providing treatment for a broad-spectrum of mental health disorders. He earned his Master of Science in Nursing Degree from The University of Akron and is a Board Certified Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner. He has experience in inpatient, outpatient, as well as community mental health settings as a Nurse Practitioner and over 25 years of experience as a Registered Nurse working in psychiatric / behavioral health hospitals. Steve has also earned his credential for Critical Incident Stress Management (CISM) from The University of Maryland.
