Dr. Schaefer is board certified in adult psychiatry and has been practicing for over 16 years. Dr. Schaefer's practice focuses on medication management, offered in conjunction with supportive therapy and elements of cognitive-behavioral therapy. Most follow up visits are 30 minutes, and if additional therapy is needed, a therapist may be brought into the care team to provide the best outcome.

Dr. Stephanie Price is a board-certified psychiatrist. Her practice focuses on medication management and supportive therapy. She believes in a collaborative approach to treatment planning because shared decision-making helps provide the best outcome for patients. She went to college at the University of Rochester in Rochester, NY and received her degree in Microbiology. She completed her medical education at Edward Via College of Osteopathic Medicine in Spartanburg, SC, and completed her residency training at Creighton University School of Medicine-Valleywise Health in Phoenix, AZ.

Dr. Jessica Edwards was born in Huntsville, Alabama and is a graduate of the University of Alabama at Huntsville. She obtained her medical degree at the University of Alabama School of Medicine in Birmingham. She completed her psychiatry residency at Wake Forest School of Medicine and its affiliated North Carolina Baptist Hospital. Dr. Edwards has over 25 years' experience in psychiatry and addiction medicine, being one of the first 500 physicians to receive certification by the American Society of Addiction Medicine in 1997, and later board certified in addiction medicine in 2017.

Lauren is a board-certified psychiatric mental health nurse practitioner who helps the underserved feel cared for, understood, and encouraged to reach their full potential. She works with adults using medication management, dialectical behavioral therapy, diet, exercise, and mindfulness. Lauren has a holistic approach to care and believes a suitable treatment plan is one the patient can agree to and follow.

Matthew Guanzon chose Psychiatry because it is the culture of his family which is to serve Humanity for giving us a life worth living. His family has ingrained in him that giving back to the community is extremely rewarding when one sees the fruits of his/her labor. Both of his parents are physicians. Psychiatry is Matthew’s passion. He enjoys meeting clients for the first time and understands that this field requires tenderness/sensitivity to begin to unmask the underlying conscious or subconscious psychiatric/psychological issue. My name is Mojeed Akintayo(aka Dr. A). I am a practicing psychiatrist in Greensboro, NC. I completed my medical education at College of Medicine, University of Lagos, Nigeria. I proceeded to Columbia University, Harlem Hospital Center in New York City where I completed my training in Adult/General Psychiatry. I attended fellowship training in Child & Adolescent Psychiatry at SUNY Downstate/Kings County Hospital Center in Brooklyn, New York. Mariah earned a B.S in Human Nutrition from the University of Florida and her Masters in Physician Assistant Studies from the University of South Florida. She has experience working with substance use, mood disorders, depression, anxiety, ADHD/ADD, and other mental health concerns. She strives to deliver quality and compassionate care to all her patients. She has a passion working with children, adolescents, and young adults. Her care approach is empathetic, compassionate, trustworthy, and attentive to clients concerns and feelings.
