Fatimah Boone is a graduate of Vanderbilt University and a Board Certified Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner who works with adults 18 and older. She specializes in anxiety, insomnia, mood disorders, depression, Bipolar Disorder, ADHD, PTSD, OCD, and other psychiatric issues and disorders. She brings experience working inpatient units and outpatient clinics. She performs psychiatric evaluations, psychiatric diagnoses, and prescribes and provides medication management as well as person-centered psychotherapy to patients residing in Delaware and New York. Appointments are only on weekday evenings and weekends.

My philosophy and the way of treating patients is to let them know from the beginning that I am just another person in the world, just like they are. Nothing makes me invincible to any mental health disorder (anxiety, depression, OCD, etc.) When we start talking about treatment plans and medications are involved versus going all natural treatment (which I have resources to share with others for this as well). Either way, the patient ultimately chooses their treatment plans and goals with me. Dr. Patricia Figgs is a Board-Certified Psychiatrist in the state of Delaware. She is a graduate of University of Delaware and Jefferson (Sidney Kimmel) Medical College in Philadelphia. She completed her Psychiatric Residency at Thomas Jefferson University Hospital in 2015 and has worked in Delaware serving the mental health needs of her home state since that time. Dr. Figgs was a member of the United States Army Reserves from 2013-2021 and has worked on base at Fort Hood, TX and at the Wilmington VA Medical Center, giving her extensive experience in treating members of the military and their unique mental health issues.

Integrated Health & Wellness Services (IHAWS) focuses on providing services to individuals and families struggling with mental illness including substance use. We provide services to children, adolescents and adults. We have providers with experience in a wide variety of mental health conditions and utilize different counseling methods to meet each individual need. Dr. Sheila Cannon is a board-certified Clinical Nurse Specialist in psychiatric mental health (PMHCNS), a Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner (PMHNP), and an approved buprenorphine provider. Dr. Cannon's experiences in psychiatry have spanned over 36 years in advanced practice roles and as senior directors in various inpatient psychiatric arenas. She has been an RN for 38 years and an educator for 27 years. Dr. Cannon offers medication management, psychotherapeutic interventions, and psychotherapy across the lifespan. She specializes in all psychiatric disorders and prior work in TF-CBT and women issues work.

I am a Board Certified Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner with over five years of experience in the mental health field. Initially from Long Island, NY, I obtained a Bachelor’s Degree in Biology and Public Health, with a minor in Spanish from Stony Brook University. I returned to the University of Delaware to receive my Bachelor’s Degree in nursing. It has been working in both inpatient and outpatient dual-diagnosis psychiatry settings that I found my true passion, and pursued my MSN in psychiatry.
