Dr. Ben Wan is a board-certified psychiatrist providing individualized treatment for adults suffering from depression and anxiety, OCD, ADHD, and other issues related to work and relationships. Dr. Wan provides psychoanalytic psychotherapy informed by more recent advances in cognitive behavior therapy (CBT), dialectical behavior therapy (DBT), and mindfulness theory. When indicated, Dr. Wan also recommends and prescribes medication.

Dr. Wan was trained in psychiatry at the University of Pennsylvania and the Mount Sinai School of Medicine. He is a member of the New York Psychoanalytic Society & Institute and is certified in psychoanalytic psychotherapy. Outside of his practice, he works with a mobile treatment team supporting New Yorkers with serious mental illness.
