When we become stuck in life, it can be difficult to know when or how to ask for help. As a board-certified child, adolescent, and adult psychiatrist, I am equipped to help with a wide range of problems. In treatment, I work in an open-ended, supportive way to explore the patterns and conflicts that may be related to the symptoms you are experiencing. I aim to help you better understand yourself and, in doing so, to feel more adept at navigating life’s challenges and lead a more fulfilling life.

While most psychiatrists provide only medication management, I offer patients a combination of psychopharmacology and psychotherapy. I believe that medications facilitate therapy, in that they allow us just enough distance from our emotions for therapy to take hold and grow. As a physician, a psychiatrist, and a therapist, I am uniquely positioned to treat your entire being, ensuring your physical, mental, and emotional needs are all addressed in the same place, by the same person.

I offer medication assisted treatments for Substance Use Disorders and pharmacotherapy for General Psychiatric Disorders including in-office administration of intranasal ketamine.
In my work with individuals with chronic medical, general psychiatric, pain and substance disorders I have come to truly appreciate how very individual and uniquely these manifest in the suffering patient. In the experience of the one afflicted, their disorder is as distinct as the sufferer themself. As no two persons, their illnesses and circumstances are identical, it is also generally the case that neither will the most effective treatment plan recommended for them be as well.
