Accepting new patients February 2025! Some people find that therapy alone does not allow them to reach their mental health potential and may be considering starting medication, changing medication or looking to continue medication. No matter where you are on your journey to mental wellness, there are options. I provide psychiatric evaluations, medication management, health/nutrition/sleep education, and therapeutic support to children, adolescents, and emerging adults who are struggling with depression, anxiety, sleep and eating issues and other mental health concerns.
As a psychiatric nurse practitioner who has worked with children, adolescents, and emerging adults in various mental health settings for over 14 years, I find a balance of therapy, medication management, coping skill development, health education, and integration of social supports help optimize one's mental health.
I have found a compassionate and nurturing approach is pivotal in developing a trusting therapeutic relationship. I understand the importance of helping those as they explore what sources of nourishment work best for them to optimize their quality of life.
