My motivation for working with children and young adults comes from personal experiences as a coach. It starts with a safe environment, cultivating the foundation of growth and development, while empowering youth to lead fulfilling lives. My experience managing substance use disorders within the community has provided a better understanding for those struggling with anxiety, depression, PTSD, ADHD, or even changes in mood and sleep effected from the Covid-19 pandemic.
My name is Lance Anders, I am a board-certified psychiatric mental health nurse practitioner; I have a master's degree in the science of nursing in psychiatric mental health from Washington State University and am pursuing my doctorate degree. I am a National Certified Personal Trainer through ISSA, with a minor in nutrition.
Together, my patients, their families, and I formulate individualized treatment plans that incorporate therapeutic options such as: psychotherapy, medication management, and specific care for self-techniques supporting a better understanding of their mental health options and successful treatment goals.
