I have been in private practice in Houston since 2008. I have experience working with adolescents, and adults in acute care, residential settings and in outpatient settings. In all my work I have learned the value of careful history taking and slow and careful medication management for all diagnostic categories. I have expertise in diagnosing and treating bipolar disorders, personality disorders, PTSD, mood and psychotic disorders. I am no longer accepting clients for ADHD treatment.
I provide psychopharmacology for adults and adolescents. I'm very careful and thoughtful with medications. I am pleased to provide second opinions about diagnoses or case consultations as needed. I also provide individual therapy for older adolescents and for adults.
I like working with other therapists who are willing to have a dialogue with me about patient care. I like teamwork.
I'm a Jamaican who's trained in the US ... cultural issues interest me and I work well with English speaking immigrant families.
