Tiffane Staley, DNP, ARNP, PMHNP-BC is a board-certified psychiatric nurse practitioner who provides mental health care. Tools utilized are medication management and brief therapy to provide holistic care. They have been working in the Bellingham area since graduating in 2020. They particularly enjoy helping those who suffer from anxiety, depression, and PTSD. I am a licensed Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner, having earned my doctorate in Nursing Practice from Seattle University’s Advanced Practice Nursing program. My doctoral research focused on supporting the mental health of transgender and nonbinary youth in the primary care setting. Prior to nursing school, I received a Masters degree in HIV and Community Health from Sonoma State University's Hutchins School of Liberal Studies. Additionally, I have experience coordinating with adolescent inpatient programs, Seattle Children’s Hospital clinics, school district special education programs (IEP/504), and ABA services.

In my role as PMHNP-BC, I am trained in the treatment of psychiatric illness of individuals across the lifespan (age 6-65), especially those with adjustment disorders, mood disorders, anxiety disorders, obsessive-compulsive disorder (OCD), eating disorders, post traumatic stress disorder (PTSD), psychotic disorders, bipolar disorders and trauma-related disorders. I have practiced with diverse populations across a variety of settings including: Consult-Liaison Psychiatry Service, Eating disorder, School-Based Psychiatry Program and Child, Adolescent and Adult Psychiatry Outpatient settings.

My practice is especially affirming of Queer, Trans, and BIPOC people.
