I am Board Certified in Adult Psychiatry and have been practicing since 2005. I completed my residency from Tufts University in Boston, Massachusetts and my Fellowship in Addictions from the Robert Johnson Wood Foundation. In 2014, I was featured in SJ Magazine as one of New Jersey’s top psychiatrists. I have experience working with adults as well as adolescents suffering from both psychiatric diagnosis and substance use disorders and have extensive experience working in both out-patient and in-patient settings.

I believe a comprehensive assessment, a working alliance with clients and families, and collaboration with all treatment providers should be the foundation of any treatment. I am a dual board certified adult and child-adolescent psychiatrist with extensive experience in treating patients with complex emotional and behavioral challenges. I am a dual board certified Psychiatric Mental Health and Acute Care Nurse Practitioner with two doctoral degrees. I am qualified to practice in Psychiatry and Internal Medicine to counsel, diagnose, treat, and prescribe medications for patients of all age groups. I have 25 years of experience as a Nurse Practitioner and have worked extensively in inpatient and outpatient settings.

Miriam is a Board-Certified Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner (PMHNP-BC). She has experience treating adolescents and adults with depression, anxiety, sleep disorders, ADHD, bipolar disorder, and many other mental health conditions. Miriam is a caring and compassionate person who works diligently to provide education on the best possible treatment options and plans, including medication and nonmedication options. Miriam completed her master's degree at Rowan University, graduating Magna Cum Laude, and worked at Cooper University Hospital for the past 7 years caring for patients in the hospital setting.

Dr. Cidambi is board certified in Psychiatry and Addiction Medicine (ABAM). She completed her residency in Psychiatry from Maimonides Medical Center in Brooklyn and a Fellowship in Addiction Medicine from NYU/Bellevue. Dr. Cidambi was the Director of Chemical Dependency at New Jersey's oldest inpatient mental health/substance abuse hospital. In 2010, Dr. Cidambi started her own substance abuse treatment facility, Center for Network Therapy (RecoveryCNT.com), providing outpatient detoxification from alcohol, benzodiazepines, opiates and suboxone, and partial care and IOP programs. The Center for Network Therapy is in-network with most major private health insurance providers.

Welcome to my practice. I am a dual board-certified Adult and Child- Adolescent Psychiatrist. I completed my General Psychiatry residency and Fellowship in Child- Adolescent Psychiatry from Icahn School of Medicine at Mount Sinai, New York, where I was appointed as chief fellow. I have been working as an attending psychiatrist with Rutgers University Behavioral Health Care, in the school-based programs, where I provide full range of psychiatric services to youths (5-21) in out of district therapeutic schools.
