Providing in-person, TMS, Spravato ( esketamine) and Tele-psych services. A perfect sync in mind, body and soul is needed for a balanced and healthy life style and that is what I strive to look for and achieve during evaluation, psychiatric assessment and treatment of my patients. I am a dually board certified physician by ABPN and specialize in Adult and Geriatric Psychiatry. I will do a comprehensive assessment and see how the biological, psychological, and social issues in someone's past and present are interacting and contributing in presentation of psychiatric symptoms.
Individualized care plans with options including Medication management, new and innovative treatments for Treatment resistant depression including Esketamine (Spravato nasal spray), Trans Cranial Magnetic (TMS treatment) and Therapy as indicated.
My experience in a busy academic center as a Director of Geriatric Psychiatry where I taught med students, resident doctors, forced me to stay informed with latest biological and therapeutic treatments and gave me ability to consider/diagnose medical causes responsible for presenting psychiatric symptoms, thereby ensuring comprehensive/accurate treatment.
