I offer specialized care to treat mental health conditions during pregnancy and postpartum. I use a combination of therapy and medication management, specializing in pregnancy and breastfeeding. I work with patients to explain the role of medication and take a collaborative approach to treatment. I'm passionate about helping expecting and new parents transition into the next phase of their lives, and I enjoy working with parents and infants together. I believe that patients should not be defined by their symptoms or diagnosis and strive to understand each person's unique strengths, experiences, and history.
I graduated from UCLA Medical School and completed psychiatry residency at UCSF. I completed additional training in Infant Parent Psychotherapy, psychoanalytic psychotherapy, and an area of distinction for Women's Mental Health. I'm the medical director of the MOMS program at El Camino Hospital and am interested in perinatal mood disorders and attachment.
Taking the first step to receive support for mental health symptoms during the perinatal period can often be challenging. I hope to help expecting and new parents navigate their mental health journey, which can positively impact the individual and the bond they develop with their child.
