Nicole is a board-certified psychiatric nurse practitioner and a Nicholls State University graduate with a master’s degree in nursing. Over the past 3 years, she has worked with a diverse patient population in a variety of settings. She also has over a decade of experience in the field of nursing. She is passionate about providing individualized, compassionate, evidence-based care to clients that are experiencing mental health issues. Clients are often apprehensive to see a psychiatric provider. There is an underlying social stigma that has made mental health care feel taboo. Some clients are apprehensive about beginning medication management. It can be intimidating.
