Hello! My name is Nicole Albaugh, and I am a board-certified Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner based in Ada, MN. I serve clients in both ND and MN through telehealth or in-person visits. I assist clients of all ages by employing a holistic approach to foster overall wellness and by collaborating with other professionals to support your journey towards becoming the person you aspire to be. I maintain a relaxed, calm, open, and personable communication style. It's important to me that my clients feel they are in a safe space, where they can comfortably discuss their issues in a non-judgmental and serene setting.
In goal setting, I collaborate with my client to determine their therapeutic goals and, if necessary, adjust them to better serve the client's needs. Additionally, I aim for the process to align with their lifestyle and cultural traditions.
The first session is designed for information gathering, where you can share your concerns and desired goals. I will ask some fundamental questions to better understand your values. The primary objective of this initial meeting is to establish a trusting relationship, ensuring you feel at ease to openly share your thoughts.
