Nichole graduated with a Bachelor of Science degree in Integrative Biology in 2007 and a Master of Physician Assistant Studies in 2009 from the University of Florida. After passing her boards, Nichole became nationally certified and licensed in North Carolina to practice medicine. She moved to Asheville shortly after graduation to be near her family. Nichole enjoys crafting, camping, and many forms of gaming.
Nichole worked in family medicine for the first part of her career as part of the National Health Service Corps program in rural areas. She has worked with adults in outpatient settings and children at school-based health centers. Nichole joined ACAPS after working with a local urgent care facility.
Nichole uses this broad medical background with patients when considering psychiatric medications and mental health treatment. Nichole has a particular interest in caring for the LGBTQ+ communities.
