Hi, my name is Michelle Collins. I hold a doctoral degree in nursing practice. In addition, I am a dual ANCC board certified psychiatric mental health (PMHNP-BC) and family nurse practitioner (FNP-BC) with nearly 20 years of broad advanced practice experience. My training and years of clinical practice has allowed me to cultivate competent and compassionate care for clients across the lifespan. Together, we will work to establish a respectful client-provider relationship free from bias, judgement, and stigma. My goal is ultimately to help each client become or return to the best version of themselves.
For more than 30 years, New Oakland Family Centers has been Michigan’s most dedicated providers of quality, compassionate, innovative mental health care and services. Today, more than 30,000 people across our state receive more than 600,000 points of service from New Oakland annually from Detroit area to Ann Arbor, Flint, Grand Rapids, Lansing & Port Huron.
In addition to outpatient services, we offer PHP level of care. Children, adolescents and adult patients participate in age specific groups during the day, and depending on the severity of their circumstances, will attend sessions either three or five days a week. The average length of stay is 7-10 days. Someone is available 24/7 to take your call and help.
