I am a board-certified psychiatrist specializing in geriatric psychiatry. Generally, my patients are older than 55 years of age. My services can be provided through in-person office visits, virtual visits, or by visits to the home. Requests for consultation can be made through my website: www.newhaven.care.
I provide diagnostic assessments and recommendations around the use of psychotropic medications to manage symptoms and behaviors associated with late-life and end-of-life psychiatric syndromes common among the elderly. For those that are able and willing, I am also able to offer supportive/problem solving, CBT, or psychodynamic psychotherapy.
My aim is to improve the quality of life for the elderly and eldercare providers though a commitment to the patient-physician relationship, evidenced-based practices, and the highest regard for our shared human experience and dignity at every stage of life.
