Dr. Salehinia is a board-certified psychiatrist licensed in Maryland and Virginia. Graduated from Tehran University as Internist, general psychiatry in Chicago Medical School,Fellowships in Neuropsychoanalysis(Chicago) and Neuropsychiatry(Johns Hopkins).At this time,part time attending at Johns Hopkins Bayview campus.Enjoys working with all sort of people who suffer from mental illness, believes in biopsychosicial approach and teamwork with patients and family.He believes in holistic approach to mental health and enjoys helping individual community to evolve together.
I can provide face to face evaluation and provide treatment plan,as well as telepsychiatry combined with supportive,motivational therapy.I also provide specialty services for people with dementia, geriatric mental health .I have wide range of experience working with Intellectual disability,Child psychiatry,Forensic cases and capacity evaluations,
I will stay with you to learn more about yourself and we build a plan to improve quality of life and reach to best you can be. I never give up hope and this is what I am known for!
