Hi, my name is Nelly Meeks. I bring seven years of experience in mental health care, including three years as a psychiatric mental health nurse practitioner. I use holistic, solutions-focused approach, combining clinical expertise with genuine empathy and a strong passion for my patient's well-being. My practice is grounded in thoughtful problem-solving, compassionate care, and a commitment to helping each patient achieve meaningful, sustainable improvement.
In our first session we will get to know eachother briefly. Then we will dive into the specific challenges you are facing. This will help me to create a tailored plan for us to work through in follow up sessions. To also know how best to care for you. I will give you a chance to freely express yourself in a judgment free environment.
I have a very deep passion for mental health. I have worked in the field over 7 years. I have also suffered from depression myself so I find myself easily able to empathize with my patients. I am also on a mission to eliminate the stigma attached to mental health which causes shame and fear in many that they do not seek care.
