I enjoy the process of providing care to my patients, and entered the medical field with the intent to become a psychiatrist from the beginning. I have a passion for clinical care and dedication to providing the highest quality of service. Bringing together my medical, psychotherapeutic, and psychiatric knowledge inspires me everyday. Providing a safe and therapeutic environment is my goal. I am dual board certified to work with children and adolescents and also with adults.
I completed my fellowship in Child and Adolescent Psychiatry at Harbor-University of California Los Angeles, where I was named Chief Fellow. After completing medical school at the State University of New York Downstate HSCB, I completed training in Adult Psychiatry at the University of Southern California.
I attended University of California, Berkeley, graduating in neurobiology with a minor in theatre and performance studies. I have extensive experience working with children and adolescents beyond the clinical setting, including being a camp counselor, little league coaching, volunteer work in classrooms, and teaching high school biology classes.
