Board certified MD psychiatrist who has been serving Nebraska and Iowa since 2014. Born and raised in Nebraska and attended medical school at UNMC and residency at Creighton. My goal for patients is for them to become well enough that they no longer need my services. I do not want patients to just exist, but to thrive as happy and functional individuals. This often includes their relationships, professions and education. I am a medication minimalist and strive for the least medications and lowest effective dose. Much of my time is spent identifying the correct diagnosis and reducing medications started by prior providers.

She graduated from the University of Nebraska Medical Center with her Bachelor of Science in Nursing, and later earned her Master of Science in Nursing from Mount Marty University. She has over 10 years experience in the mental health field. She takes pride in using a holistic approach with her clients and uses a patient-centered model of care, which allows her to identify the emotional, physical, and mental health needs of each client. Sarah understands that everyone she treats is unique and has their own story.

Peter is a Board Certified Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner (PMHNP), he graduated with a Master’s in the Science of Nursing from the University of Nebraska Medical Center and has been honing his skills and refining his approach ever since. Prior to becoming a PMHNP, Peter was an inpatient psychiatric nurse for 6 years. Peter’s expertise is providing psychiatric treatment to adult populations (between 19 and 70). He maintains a straightforward and no-nonsense approach to psychiatric mental health care. His goal is to find simple and healthy strategies that allow his clients to be in charge of their mental health.
