I am a board-certified psychiatrist with a practice in downtown Chicago. My background was in engineering and business but now I am happy to be using my skills as a psychiatrist with a special interest in psychotherapy. In my practice, I seek to understand each person's struggles and work together to achieve a full and sustained recovery. For some this will include psychiatric medications, for others individual psychotherapy is most effective, and for some it will be both.
I completed my undergraduate degree in Industrial Engineering before going to work in management at a large corporation. Although I enjoyed it, I have found my new path as a psychiatrist very rewarding. I attended medical school at Loyola University Stritch School of Medicine and completed my training as a psychiatrist at Northwestern Memorial.
I also practice psychiatry as a consultant in a large medical group treating individuals with co-morbid medical and psychiatric conditions.
