Announcement: I am not accepting new clients at this time. I understand that the individual is the expert of his or her own life, and try to foster an environment where one can develop skills to manage difficulties and gain insight into unique personal challenges. I am trained in the use of both medication management and brief psychotherapy to help individuals reach their desired goals. I have experience in treating a range of psychiatric conditions including depression, bipolar disorder, anxiety, personality disorders, trauma-related disorders and schizophrenia spectrum disorders.
I have special interests in working with young adults dealing with life transitions, minority mental health, and individuals experiencing first episode psychosis. From the initial evaluation, my goal is to develop a collaborative relationship where the individual can eventually explore all aspects of themselves in a meaningful way and without judgement.
I am a board-certified psychiatric nurse practitioner. Between my time as a nurse and a nurse practitioner, I have been fortunate to have gained experience in providing psychiatric and mental health nursing services in a wide variety of settings including inpatient units, emergency departments, and skilled nursing facilities.
