Hello, I am Dr. Natalie Hart, a board certified psychiatric mental health nurse practitioner. Commonly, the focus of my interactions with clients is medication management. However, my approach is always holistic, regardless of the reason for the interaction. I believe therapeutic engagement with clients is required for effective treatment. My expertise is psychiatric medication education, with a focus on evidence-based management of major depression and anxiety disorders. I am also experienced in psychopharmacologic management of bipolar disorder and schizophrenia.
My approach is based in interpersonal theory, which means all interactions with clients are aimed at building therapeutic relationships, which can significantly influence the effectiveness of treatment.
